2B — Neuroplasticity Basics

The ability for the brain to change is called neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity means the brain can form new connections and adjust existing ones. It’s how we:

learn new things,

build new skills,

and recover from challenges.

When we practice something repeatedly, the neurons involved start to fire together more easily. This strengthens the pathway between them, making that skill or behaviour feel more natural over time.
